Join us for the first concert of the Spring 2024 season! It will take place Sunday, May 19th at 3PM at Katherine Johnson Middle School.
We will play a number of selections from different facets of America:
- Let Freedom Ring – a fantasy on “My Country, ‘Tis of Thee”
- Midnight Ride – composed about Paul Revere’s ride
- Prairiesong – a piece evoking the pioneers of the west
- Eternal Father (Strong to Save) – the Naval hymn
- Flight of the Piasa – based on a myth from the Illini tribe
Other selections include Loch Lomond and Choose Joy. We hope you join us!
