The Herndon Regional Wind Ensemble will start rehearsing again on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 7PM in the Franklin Middle School band room. Our top priority is keeping our ensemble members safe, so we’ve elected to start after the winter holiday season.
Since we use a Fairfax County Public Schools facility, we are required to follow their policies. Please review the ensemble’s COVID-19 policies prior to attending a rehearsal:

Must be fully vaccinated (if you have any questions or concerns about this requirement, please contact the ensemble.)

Masks are required when not actively playing your instrument (even when seated and resting)

Bell covers must be attached to woodwind and brass instruments (if you are unable to provide your own bell cover, please contact the ensemble and we can provide assistance)

No sharing stands (if you are able to bring your own stand, it will help; but it is not required)

Spit valves should not be emptied on the floor, but into an absorbent disposable material
